Sol Sanctum Wellness Hotel & Studio has been thoughtfully designed and created for those who want to experience a peaceful, calm retreat in comfort with modern amenities.

We believe that the balance between mind, body and spirit must be nurtured. Our yoga and meditation sessions, tai chi and other uplifting practices, are offered in a tranquil space where guests can attend scheduled classes, do their own practice, or enjoy a customised itinerary which blends both, along with a taste of our mystical island of Saint Lucia.

Owners and creators of Sol Sanctum, Marise and Wendell Skeete have been teaching Art of Living Meditation & Breathwork programs for more than 30 years. Here in this special place, they have used their wealth of experience to create the perfect environment for a deeply enriching getaway, tailored specifically to your physical and spiritual needs.

Starting in 2022, international yoga teachers and instructors of other disciplines have been invited to host classes, special events and retreats in this beautiful space, sharing their skills and wisdom with our guests and wider Sol Sanctum community.

Philosophy: Surrender and Let Go

As a student of yoga for almost 20 years, my practice and teaching style includes all eight limbs of yoga - and beyond. You can expect mindful movement, pranayama (breathing techniques), meditation, yoga philosophy, accessible modifications, and blissful guided relaxation in my classes.

Philosophy: Stay Physically Fit Through Yoga

Roughly twenty years ago, I was injured while skiing and developed sciatica. Looking for relief, I started to practice yoga. Developing a strong yoga foundation has permitted me to continue my physical and outdoor pursuits. I strongly believe that yoga is for everyone. It increases our flexibility and minimizes injuries to keep our bodies youthful.


Sifu Ezra JnBaptiste


‘Sifu’ Ezra has been a Yang style Tai Chi and Basic Qigong practitioner and teacher since 1990. He is a founding member and former President of the Wushu Tai Chi Federation of Saint Lucia, and the Iyanola Tai Chi Institute. 

He has taught Tai Chi as far afield as New York and Botswana, and is certified by the Caribbean Association of National Olympic Committees in Coaching Theory and Practice.



Carelle Harris

Certified Teacher: Pilates & NASM Personal Trainer

Philosophy: Stretch & Strengthen with Pilates!

Carelle is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer whose love of Pilates began more than 18 years ago. She melds her education, training and experience in Pilates to provide client-focused sessions. “Pilates is a fantastic exercise modality for increasing core stability, strength, flexibility and balance. In my sessions, I focus on effective form, listening to the body and progressing gradually.”

Philosophy: Your Body Knows

As a devoted learner and founder of @raindrop_movement and Conscious Movement for Women, Nada has been on a path of consciousness for almost 20 years. Through teachings of Co-Active coaching, neuroscience & HeartMath Institute, she learned we have different sources of knowing available to us, and our body contains them all (mind, heart and soul).

Energy Healing Practitioner

Kay has been practicing internationally as a healer for 16 years. Born in Australia, she relocated to Saint Lucia 8 years ago. Trained in many modalities including Homeopathy, Shamanism, CEASE Therapy and ‘Food As Medicine’, Kay has been working with colleague Tatia Loverage for 7 years on the new, powerful Energy Healing modality that Sol Sanctum has been proud to showcase in 2022.
